I breed for myself to retain a promising puppy or two for my own breeding program. All of my companion puppies are from these litters and sometimes they are a nice puppy that could be shown if I so desire but I just decide to place in a pet home instead or a  puppy that isn't totally up to the standard for showing purposes eg: just a bit too big/small or ears not 100% right or wrong eye color or too much white on the body. Occasionally I may have a nice show/breeding prospect available on co-ownership only to an approved co-owner.

I have a drafty old 1860's  farmhouse which is pretty much heated with a woodstove so I don't really like having litters through the winter as its so hard to keep them draft free and warm so most of my litters will be planned for the warmer months.

Missy has whelped a litter of 4 bred to Red. She had them on January 13 2012. They are all sables, 2 boys and 2 girls. So far I really like what I got. Beautiful clean clean heads, nice underjaw, long archy necks, long upper arms, long tails and nice angles with nice long croups. Once the eyes open there should be some very pretty faces and I expect some nice structure as well.
