BPIG. Aberdale Adhara ADHARA (Epsilon Canis Majoris). The names of all the first magnitude stars ring clearly to us; even the names of those in the southern hemisphere are well known. Adhara has escaped the fame it deserves. Also known as Epsilon Canis Majoris, it is actually the second brightest star in the constellation, and helps form the western leg of Canis Major, the larger dog. Pictured below just starting to bloom at just 6 months old. Her Benayr heritage is very prominant. Hara's first trip to the show ring a hair over 6 months old she was awarded a 5 pt Best of Winners and Best Puppy In Group.
Hara has grown into a very beautiful and sweet bitch at a 2 years old. She is definitely "Benayr" in her look with all the virtues of her dam's side as well. Elegant and necky she has a beautiful topline, amazing shoulder assembly and layback like her dam and lovely head. She has also come into a very profuse coat! She will be out to finish up her Championship hopefully summer of '08. Co bred with Linda Nash of NorthDoor shelties. Hara's dam Haley
